Coot v Mallard

I went out for a walk quite early this morning to try and miss the rain which was forecast for most of the day.  I got back home just before the rain came on :-)

I'm not sure what the female mallard had done to annoy the coot, but there was a real fight taking place - and the coot was winning all the way.  The male mallards just floated along oblivious to the hostilities.
