West Australian Maritime Museum

We all headed over to Fremantle today. Escape Hunt in the morning (completed with 12 minutes to spare!).

After a Grumpy Sailor bagel for lunch Steve and I headed over to the Maritime Museum by the port. Really interesting to learn some more history of the area ranging from tradition fishing to America Cup winning boats, with a preserved shark thrown in for good measure!

Great views from the top to as you can see here with the Indian Ocean to the left. If you went in a straight line from there you won’t hit land until South Africa! (Although you’d just miss Rottnest Island which is about 22km away from Fremantle!)
