It looks as though the grass is going to need mowing very soon, so we need to get on with the labyrinth!

The last thing we did was to plot out the space with bamboo stakes at 1m intervals. With a mower cut of 55cm and allowing for 20cm between paths, we worked out that it would take up 11m x 10m - quite a large area.

My next task is to mark the lines with ash, collected over the winter from our wood-burning stove, so that D can mow in-between them. Here's my plot of the positions of the stakes overlaid onto a printout of the labyrinth design.
