Perfectly Imperfect

I chose this shot for the furry bud from which the frostbitten bloom burst forth.

Morning full of sunshine and miscellanea...not editing words or photos to conserve energy and time...move along little darlin’...

Took...a dozen shots of lady’s mantle sporting morning dew - one in extra. Two dozen shots of our ‘Star’ Magnolia beginning to bloom, which makes Spring officially here for us.

Birdsong all around again -yay! The daffs haven’t opened yet, even though the neighbors who get more sun have had wide open blooms for over a week. I’m convinced we have a cooler microclimate in our backyard due to large trees and an old creek bed that lowers our backyard like a saucer. Four waxwing couples remain and must be nesting somewhere, but where? A brief browse through our garden/bird/weather journal...oh we’ll leave that be for now.
