Stately progress ...
We've clocked this whatever-it-is-looks-like-an-oil-rig in the docks at Greenock/Port Glasgow on our journeys up and down the M8 recently without really knowing whether it was coming or going, so to speak - was it being demolished, or built, or renovated? But suddenly I noticed it heading round the corner of the Clyde this morning, and by the time I'd found my proper camera, opened the window and hung out at a slightly perilous angle it was opposite our house, slowly (or so it seemed) heading downriver.
Some 90 minutes later, when I was out again and driving south with a view towards the Cumbraes and Arran, I saw it again - unmistakable on the horizon, and still heading south.
Not quite a change from a view, but a different subject ...
Update: I've found out what it was - it's now in the North Channel, still heading south:
