Passing storm - Tynemouth

We popped over to Newcastle today to see Emma and her boyfriend - took them out to lunch. 

Then we dropped by the RVI to visit fellow blipper Elspeth who'd just had an op; she was really pleased to see us and it was great to see her looking so well so quickly.

Next stop was David C's house to drop off his Lee filter pouch and filters - that he left at ours after last weeks workshop.

Then we dropped by Tynemouth (Emma had said it was a lovely area, so we thought we'd better see for ourselves) - we had most weathers while we were there, and this passing storm on the horizon, with the sun in the foreground gave me good lighting for the pic.  (Just added an extra of the Castle)

A stop off at the Barbour outlet store on the way home needed lots of self-control not to spend too much (I managed a couple of T-shirts), and we still got home in time for dinner!

A pretty full day.
