Didn't manage to get out with the camera until this evening as I had to wait in for a delivery and some work being done. Kept myself busy by doing much needed housework.
There are some tulips growing behind the wall at the edge of the field. I think it's bulbs someone discarded a long time ago that now come up every year. They have quite large heads and are a striking red. They've taken a bit of a bettering with the wind this week but still look quite good. I decided to paly around with the filters on the camera so extracted the colour and then, on the computer, softened the sharpness a little. I quite like the effect.
