Up Top

Here's Jack the Lad braving the east wind near the top of the Herzogstand, c.1,700m. What a great day we picked to head up there, cool in the morning while we wandered up from the lift station but getting warmer as the day drew on, wonderful views of the Alps, lots of Wow! moments.
We detoured through Uffing in the way home and luckily caught up with the Flecks' so enjoyed a chat, a beer and just a touch of sunburn with them before heading back. Then it was out to Dachsbrau and dinner with Renate; more chat, more beer, lots of food. Grand!
