Blossom at Spring Grove

A beautiful day today, and the sun enticed me outside for my exercise to Spring Grove Cemetery and Arboretum. The last time I was there, there was snow on the ground, so it looked very different today! The display of tulips by the lake were past their best, but there were so many different types of blossom and flowering shrubs and the trees are finally beginning to come into leaf. The birds were in full voice, including the robin I’ve included in my collage. It was late morning when I was there, and I was joined on the trails by several joggers, I guess on their lunch hour. With all my photo stops, my walk wasn’t the most brisk, though I did try to walk quickly in between photos, and I did get my 10,000 steps in, so I was reasonably happy!
