Slug Art

My efforts to remove every slug from the geranium pots before I moved them to the greenhouse for the winter were not entirely successful, it appears.

All day rain. I looked for the elderly praying mantis that I blipped the other day. She was in the rain looking very miserable. I rarely interfere with the wildlife in my garden, (other than dealing with pests), but my heart bled for her. I held out my hand to her and she readily climbed on, so I took her into the greenhouse and put her on a geranium leaf. See extra shot. She immediately spotted a small fly and began to stalk it. The light was very poor under the leaves, which prevented a good clear shot.
