What a day! Have spent the last 2 hours on the phone with Sony as my camera (after 5+ years) refused to download, or more specifically the computer wouldn't recognise the camera ... then at the end of my gnashing of teeth, after not being able to fix my issue, they tell me to restart the computer. Well, duh, I should have thought of that myself. What a completely wasted afternoon. Operational mode, at least for now.

I am in the market for updating my camera. If anyone has any bright ideas, I would be most appreciative!
