Spring Has Sprung

Two days ago I left on a work trip and it was still really chilly. While I was gone the weather suddenly turned in the UK and I missed what many said was the hottest April day ever recorded.

I arrived late this morning from Newark and spent most of the rest of the day here on my swing in the garden, even sleeping soundly for a couple of hours. It felt delicious - my favourite way of doing jet-lag! Spring has finally sprung - or have we skipped spring and gone straight into summer?
