Kirkcaldy Man

Last night I watched a short film, Kirkcaldy Man, about the two time former World Darts Champion, Jocky Wilson. I had wanted to see it since I'd heard about it earlier in the year and it is currently free to view for a limited time here. I would highly recommend it whether you are a fan of darts or not.

For anyone growing up or living in Fife, you will certainly recognise some of the characters, their outlooks and their humour in this short film. I was born in Kirkcaldy and have lived in Fife for 30 of my 34 years. A proud Fifer. I laughed at a few bits throughout this film but felt quite sad for a long time after it finished. If you know the Jocky Wilson story, you will know that there is no happy ending...
