Kam Tin markets
As we had no worship practice today, we got to have a lie-in, after ages. Martin did go hiking and Nadine and i had already decided that we wanted to go check out Kam Tin markets which are only open on the weekend.
So after lunch we all headed out there and were surprised to see the variety of things on sale. We then went to another indoor weekend market which was also very different to anything we’d seen in HK before. I was amused by these fruit on a stick. These are plastic display versions of frozen fruit that was available.
Quick trip into the brass factory to get a little present to take away when we leave in two weeks.
We then chose to carry on to Yuen Long as some of us desperately needed coffee by this stage.
We found the mall there had more than what we needed and we rested for a bit there too.
Checked out some new earphones for the man as his birthday is coming up and Ben’s advised him which are good ones to get.
We decided to go to IFC in Central to check out some more brands and ended up buying them there! And then as we were at IFC, we ended up having dinner at Crystal Jade, and Nadine kindly treated us to dinner ... again! She’s been doing that a bit too much, very kind of her.
