Just chilling in the garden

My blip today had to be of Murdoch as he has taken most of my attention these past few days with his illness. He is slowly getting better, although up until this afternoon everything he has eaten was coming straight out again with terrible diarrhoea - not very pleasant! Thank goodness for Gavin who cleaned up a huge mess last night on the kitchen floor as I could not quite face it. Poor Murdoch was cringing with embarrassment, as Luke says he is a very polite and private dog regarding his toilet matters and always makes sure it is far away from a path on a walk, never in sight. He must have been mortified at his lack of control. We have gone through a bit of bleach lately getting the kitchen floor scrubbed and hygienic again...! However, it seems to have settled down now and he is eating again - just plain chicken and rice as advised by the vet. He has lost a bit of weight, nearly 2kg which is a lot for his size (although he was a little overweight so could do with that weight loss)

As for the weather....a week ago I was outside at 10pm in a short sleeved T shirt, today we are reaching for a winter jackets once again. They were forecasting sleet on Monday in the SE of England with a high of about 6C, absolutely ridiculous for this time of year. A cosy night indoors will be the plan today - and tomorrow, for the first time in about a year I have booked movie tickets!
