Peddle and a Pint! ..... or two

I managed to get all my planning done for my year 6 class tomorrow, this morning, so it meant we could join a few club members on our first summers evening peddle and a pint. We wrapped up in our lighter winter gear and set off on the tandem. The local countryside is ablaze with the flowering rape seed. It is always quite a spectacle. I even like the smell!

It was a fast run over to Barnack where we met up with the others. A couple of pints and then a blast home. Ahhhh. It felt like being on holiday, but with the added benefit of sleeping in our own bed. A cold but beautiful evening
