At the sea

The dance last evening was terrific.  The buffet dinner was excellent, as always, and the dance theme was dances commemorating people or things..... Allison, our caller had devised a new dance 'Rambling Round the Raith' referring to the new huge roundabout near Hamilton, which was a couple of years in the making but has improved our roads here immensely.  And it's a good dance.  Most of the other dances were for people well known to country dancing...... it was a good night.  And boy did I sleep well!!!!

Have had a fairly quiet day today, lovely weather, high of around 13C and sunny.  We went to the sea for a wee walk.  My photo shows Ailsa Craig with the sun going down, it was a nice sight.  On one side the sky was very dark, but on the other the sun and clouds were light.  The light was quite special.
