Save a horse, ride a pumpkin

We woke up with news and images and felt fortunate people we know are doing well - and that we in Michigan only had some Sandy fall-out to deal with.

There was also the news that Laurence's evil twin, Laurence, has made his way over to the US. Fortunately, he's a long way away in Florida - I don't know what would happen to the time-space continuum should the 2 ever meet.

I didn't inform Lar - who spend most of the day playing with the massive pumpkin I got him from Gene last Sunday.

I managed a few hours without watching tv but I'm pretty sure I'll be glued to the news again in 10 minutes.
