Hedgehog tree

I saw this at Dawyck Botanical Gardens which I was visiting with my good friend G from Peebles. I don't know what it was, maybe a relative of a monkey puzzle tree? We saw lots of beautiful rhodedendrons which were a bit bedraggled because of the rain, however we didn't let the weather put us off, and we felt vidicated as it later dried up.

We preceded our visit to the gardens with lunch at the cafe and ended up there too - it does have nice food!
