Moonlit clouds
Another late start to the day! MrM woke us both yet again at a very early hour due to backache, but was sound asleep again when it was time to get up!
He spent most of the day working on the woodwork in the music room, while I tackled some domestic stuff.
A pleasant evening though. We went to the Cheviot Centre to see a 'Highlights' performance - Ethel Smyth: Grasp the Nettle. As well as a member of the women's suffragette movement, Ethel Smyth was also a talented composer and, though the word was never mentioned, a lesbian. An fantastic performance! To the Black Bull afterwards with MrM and JC. A lovely sky as we walked home from the pub - the moon seemed very bright, even though it was behind the clouds, but the full moon isn't until Monday.
