The Derwent

Had a walk along the River Derwent in Cockermouth this morning, this is a part of the river I haven't photographed before. the Hawthorne is coming out nicely.
Ray walked this morning too, I am still doing all the driving, came back via Loweswater just for a chnge, we were going to have coffee at the Kirkstile but forgot it was the Beer Festival weekend. Loads of people and cars there and it was only 10am, we didn't stop. We will go back in the week when it is quieter.
