window of opportunity

Went all the way to Bantry yesterday through the most beautiful sunset (with no camera!!)only to find the cinema was full and we had not booked. Drove home again through a beautiful moonrise (with no camera!!).

We booked tickets for today but the car developed a fault and had to go in to the mechanic. We managed to borrow an old banger for the evening and, after a busy and pictureless day, drove to Bantry (with the camera) through a damp cloudy sunless evening and just caught this shot in the last light of the day.

But after all that Skyfall was brilliant and made up for everything.
