in the dark

It seems my Dad is trying to make savings on his electricity bill.  The gas bill, however.....

Another boiling hot three hours with my Dad.   Here he is churning out the same old army story about 30 POW's, the desert, a bus and a swimming pool.   Out of shot is his neighbour, Roger.   Roger has a wicked sense of humour but is very kind and pops in every day to make sure 
"the old bugger hasn't died"        

Some comedy gold moments this afternoon.
