Synchronised Dabbling

On a hunt for goslings this afternoon ... just too early I think .... I blipped one on May 4th last year so it shouldn't be too long before the first family of Greylags put in an appearance.

I had to make do with this pair of mallards who were engaged in some synchronised diving activities.

The extra photo, which was taken through my kitchen window, is specially for Charlie17 who rather likes mice. I've never seen one on my back doorstep before.
