Happy Vaisakhi everyone!

K had invited me to the gurdwara. I visited today but couldn’t find K. Didn’t matter, I was given a samosa and chai and a warm welcome. Ate my food, went upstairs for prayers and a blessing and then watched as everyone left for the Vaisakhi parade. Wandered around Leith in the sunshine and caught up with the parade later. People were sweeping and sprinkling water on the road ahead of the truck at the front of the parade. The colours of everyone’s special clothes were just beautiful.
