Penshurst
Another drizzly day. To get me off the computer I forced myself to walk round Penshurst . A lot of noisy lambs that look like they should have outgrown feeding off mum by now and a medieval "dole" table in the graveyard (extras). A sign by the table says "A dole was a small portion of food, clothing or money that was placed on the table for the poor on special occasions such as St Thomas Day 21 December, each year". So now you know. An another picture of the Church Inn which I have blipped before but I think I prefer this view
