Cherry blossom

The cherry tree in son J's garden is huge, but the garden is quite small. At this time of year the tree is quite splendid, dominating the space and the view from the window. (See extra)
We spent the day with J and M and grandson George. We might have hoped to spend time in the garden but with temperatures between five and eight degrees we were firmly indoors. We enjoyed a tasty roast dinner and Normous and I were both given early birthday presents as we won't be seeing them on the actual days.
