Male Rose-breasted Grosbeak

I posted a female grosbeak at the beginning of the blip meet, so it is fitting that I post a male on the last full day.  We traveled to the Quintana Neotropical Nature Preserve today.  Although it was relatively slow, at least compared to some of our other experiences here on Galveston Island, we all managed to find a favorite to blip.  
I'm sad to leave my blip friends and head back to reality, but I suppose it will be good to get back home to family.  This has been a super trip, and one I will always remember.
