"Can I shake your hand please?"

Monday 30th April 2018 (2066)

A day off today with my friend Liz. For the third time, we went to see if we could see any Red Squirrels at Formby. Oh wow! Yes we did! Within a few minutes of leaving the car we had one at our feet. We spent a wonderful hour and a half watching them and taking photos. They were so happy to come close to us and even happy to shake our hands and take a nut. We both have so many wonderful photos to choose from. I've put two more in the extras. What an amazing time!

We then went for a walk round the woods to see if we could find some bluebells. We did, but they were a bit of an anticlimax after the squirrels.

On the way home we stopped for tea and cake at a garden centre. Now we have a lot of sorting of photos to do.
