...The Ridings in Wakefield this afternoon - thought she looked a bit lost and lonely...
Sadly Wakefield was looking rather seedy today - more buskers and beggars than usual outside near the Cathedral, and the whole street had a neglected and downtrodden look. The construction of Trinity Walk at the other end of "town" gave the place a buzz for a while, but town centre shopping certainly seems to be on the decline, with more shops closing and being boarded up than new ones opening up. I was taking something back to M&S and Roy needed a watchstrap, otherwise I guess we wouldn't have been there either...
