Joan As Police Woman - Damned Devotion (2018)
I think if I was asked to name my favourite band I would struggle to think of any that hadn't been around for decades and were now old-timers. There are more female singers that spring to mind, of whom probably the most current would be Laura Marling. Other favourites, who have been around a little longer are Neko Case and Joan Wasser, aka Joan As Police Woman. This title track from her latest album marks her eighth appearance as a LOTD.
