The lone swan

This is probably the swan who lost its partner two days ago. I didn't see it that evening, and only in the air yesterday, but today it has spent most of the day on the pond.

I took the van in for a repair today. Unfortunately the repair shop had got the wrong part, and they found another fault, so nothing fixed and another visit will follow soon.

But tomorrow it's May 1st, so Happy May Day!
