Colfiorito, Umbria

Backblip

A weekend away, alone, without the internet. I packed my camera, my tripod, my walking boots and a good book. I enjoyed solitude and time to ponder.
I visited the area of Colfiorito in Umbria, where there is a swamp full of water fowl: herons, coots, ducks, bitterns, cormorans. The swamp is full of reeds, in the main picture lit by the sun. In the hills nearby there are plenty of flowers. I’ve never seen so many different wild orchids as in these days! And of so many different colours!
My first day there was great!
