I met up mid morning for a walk with a former work colleague who's a keen bird photographer. I've had a bad ear for nearly three weeks that's making me pretty deaf and overnight I can't stop coughing. A couple of hours was enough, capturing a Long Tailed Tit and Blackbird. I prefer the one of the Welsh icon, Castle Coch situated on the hill at Tongwynlais overlooking Cardiff and the Bristol Channel.

I've been going to the castle for over fifty five years as a young boy, with grandparents, and got married there, so it holds fond memories.
