So treatment plan part II

I met my new specialist today. He's very nice, very thorough, and very confidence inspiring. Allso has a gsoh which was in the brief. Describes Fec-T with an Irish accent which suits our inappropriate humour perfectly. Turns out the heart scan I had last week was not the formality it was supposed to be. Now referred for an echo, my heart output is below par, and that may mean a plan B when it comes to chemo. A plan B which might not be so effective as the preferred choice. But might have less side effects. Results of the histology today too. I have grade 3, triple positive invasive lobular carcinoma. Or did have. Clear nodes. Clear margins.. Still need the domestos to ensure no secondary breast cancer crops up..trusting the experts when they tell me they predict an 82% chance of living for 10 years with all the treatment. Good enough for me. Week beginning 14th May. Two weeks of normal. And breathe.
