The weather has changed today and with it the bird behaviour.  We went to Anahuac National Wildlife Refuge where it was relatively quiet but I did get a shot of a white-faced ibis. See Extra. We then headed to a dead cert - Boy Scout on High Island to see the hummers on the bottle-brush bushes where now almost over night the bushes were past their best and only a couple of birds in sight!! Boy did we hit lucky when we all Bobbed in there only a few days ago!
