May Moonset
Amazingly, after several days of low cloud, rain and gloom the sky cleared for the moonset this morning. I spent 35 minutes out on the back lawn watching it. Once the sun rose the colours were beautiful, but the sun lasted only a few minutes. As the moon drew closer to the hills the landscape grew darker. By the time it was actually setting behind the hill the contrast was too great, and the colours had gone. Still I was happy with what I captured.
There are two more shots in extras. The moon-bombing bird is an Australian magpie, I think.
