First dinner party

Our first dinner party at Grünberger Straße was a success. 

Tom cooked up a delicious mushroom risotto. I bought some wine, lit some candles and moved his desk to the middle of his room to create a dining table.

Eating in our living room/ Tom's bedroom with a swing at the end of the table and no heating on all added to the experience. 

After dinner we strolled across to Warschauer Str to get ice cream and sorbet from Chipi Chipi Bon Bon. The man in there makes all of the ice cream himself. There's something special about being able to get ice cream at 11 o'clock at night. Sometimes I just feel like I'm on a 6 month holiday in Berlin. 

Of course, this was nothing like our dinner parties back in Edinburgh at Viewforth Square. At the time we left to get ice cream, we'd probably be 6 jäger bombs down and ready to hit Hive. 

I'm enjoying the new faces and new way of doing things over here. It's strange to think that in September, Tom and I will have had 3 flats together. 

Who knows what our next street will be called.
