Dragonfly

I hadn't gone looking for a dragonfly to photograph, but I saw this land on a piece of grass and couldn't resist having a go. It doesn't compare to the dragonflys of Dave, Englishman in Bandung - and it's not exactly a colourful specimen either, but it is my first ever dragonfly photo!

I have never looked at a dragonfly so closely before, and it's eyes are quite amazing - they seem to flash when it is looking around!
