The Wedding of the Year

Backblip with the wrong date, because I forgot to change time from Adelaide to GMT

It was all perfect.The Bride was the most beautiful girl in town, the Groom - the happiest man on earth. They were surprised on their arrival by the flags and "Land of Hope and Glory". Food was lovely. The venue ideal for the occasion and representative of the City. Scottish boys and men were in kilts. Ceilidh band entertained both the dancers and spectators. I was in the latter group, suffering in my shiny new shoes. Wedding of the Year.

Earlier today Hanna and I spent some time in Chester-le-Street, where we used to live. She did not remember a thing, even our old house. She did however remember our neighbour - Jim, thanks to his arm tattoo of a naked lady. Later we attended a fundraising coffee morning - Hanna's old school is organising a trip to Australia and two of her friends might even visit us.

Busy and exciting day.
