A Cheeky Cold Wind Out There.

A lovely ride after work. The saddler dropped off some saddles for me to try while I was away and I have found the one I like. It’s a dressage saddle. Saddles are very much a personal preference but I do like dressage saddles. They have deeper seats and allow for a longer leg (I do have long legs anyway), which I find helps me feel more secure in my seat.

I had to sell Johnny’s saddle as it was much too small for Milo and young horses should really be ridden in general purpose saddle for the first year or so. I am lucky that the general purpose saddle I had to buy for Milo fits China too, so I do have a back up if required or if myself or Sushi decide to do some jumping on him.

It was beautiful light on the way home, but oh my there was a cheeky cold wind out there too.
