Weatherproof

It was wet and windy yesterday, and the forecast is dreadful for tomorrow, but today was a beautiful sunny May Day! So lucky because N and I were on a coach outing to a garden in East Sussex. It was very pleasant exploring the garden in the sunshine, but sadly it was not looking its best. They had had strong winds and rain yesterday and everywhere we looked there were wrecked tulips. It was very soggy underfoot. If it wasn't so far away we would be tempted to go back another time. However we enjoyed a good lunch in the cafe, celebrating my birthday in the company of WI friends.
The blip shows a bed of Carmassias, obviously fairly weatherproof!
