Reflections - backblip
Thursday 26th April
Off to Wonderwool Wales 2018 and we've had a lovely journey to Builth Wells in mostly sunshine, with just a smattering of light showers. The scenery was breathtaking, the trees in all their glory wearing their Spring outfits of blossom and those oh so lovely pale green leaves and on the roadside pale yellow Primroses, swathes of frothy pink Lady's Smock, Cowslips and late Daffs. Lots of lambs in the fields and two fat Buzzards taking off from a hedge right beside us showing off their magnificent wing span.
We got 'Matilda' settled in no time and our friends from last year were already set up and brought us a welcome cuppa.
It is very evident that the little pond on our campsite has expanded somewhat from last year. The nice owner is not sure if Welsh Water is to blame for a blocked culvert or just the excessive rainfall. Whatever the pond/lake provided a lovely reflection of the delightful little Church on the other side of the road. We're going to enjoy the next few days whatever the weather.
