Dancing In The Street

Into Chorley, this morning, for a haircut at Groom. The proprietor tells jokes, which puts me off a bit, but the actual barber, Anne-Marie, is great, so there you go. That said, today, when she'd done, she licked back my hair so I looked like Don Corleone but also oddly reminiscent of a photo of my granddad when he was a young man.

I then went off to find The Minx, miniMinx, and Abi, who were having breakfast at the Bees' Country Kitchen. It was some kind of dance festival in Chorley today, so the streets were fully of oddly garbed Morris Dancers. Of all the 'crews' we saw, these ladies were my favourite: gentle and precise, quietly doing their thing.
