Fungi farm

It looked like a fungi farm on my front lawn this morning. A large area was  covered in tiny fungi that had sprung up overnight, after a warm day yesterday.

I am glad I grabbed a couple of photos then, as by the time I got home from helping out at school, they were past their best and in strong sunlight.

I had intended to drive out to look for a wide angle shot for Wide Angle Wednesday but by the time I had also had an hour at the Dentist, a Skype from my daughter and a visit from a friend, there wasn't much of the day left.

I am glad I took the fungi photos when I did. At least I have a blip.
