Surrendered

I woke up this morning and looked outside and saw the sky starting to colour up.  I didn't have time to get to anywhere to get the best of that beautiful sunrise ... so I gave up. 

I forgot to put my camera bag in the car and so when I was driving home  this evening and saw the sky starting to colour to up to a beautiful sunset I knew I didn't have time to go home and get the camera and then go out to get the best of it ...  so I gave up.

I did however manage a shot of this almost translucent fungi when walking the hounds the morning.  I bet there is not a cloud in the sky tomorrow and it is forcast for high 20s again.  What is going on with this weather?
