Bird Waiting for a Handout.

I am realising how much I don't know about plants and birds. Must do something about it as I can't keep expecting other people to tell me what my blips are ! I think this is a pigeon which was on the towpath by the river, waiting for a morsel dropped by the children who were feeding the ducks. Actually there is a notice by the bridge asking people not to feed them. It is such a popular place that the birds are getting overfed. Obviously not everyone sees it. This bird looks a bit on the chubby side !
