First Poppy

Yaaaay, I found the first poppy of the year today, tiny and damp and hiding in amongst the loosestrife......where there is one, there should be many more I hope.  A blustery day, with a couple of heavy showers interspersed with sun and blue sky...the promise of better things maybe!!
