Slavonian Grebe...
one of two pairs visible on the loch this morning. Also saw a Mallard with ten ducklings line a stern, Coots, the Mute Swan pair, a Kite and Little Grebes. Heard Chiffchaffs, Yellow Buntings, and Chaffinches .
Warmer today without the wind, temperatures around 12C.
The extra is how to park a Cruise liner in a village! Watched a very skilful manoeuvre by the pilot, who brought her in the arrow channel, spun her round then reversed onto a pontoon berth. This was not at the same location obviously, but at Invergordon.
