Fête de la Pomme

Sunday was a glorious Autumn day in Belgium and my daughters and I went up to the beautiful village green at Ceroux (one of the original villages which make up the now much larger entity of Ottignies-Louvain-la-Neuve) for the annual Fête de la Pomme (Apple Fair). The green is delimited by beautiful old trees and the old Maison Communale is now a café.

We had a lovely time tasting apple juice, buying apple waffles, tasting other seasonal products, etc. and came back with bags of apples and pumpkins. Very autumnal !
